Can I get a sample?

Of course you can, in fact we insist you do! We have enough experience with flooring that we know context is everything, a floor will look different depending on factors like the lighting, furniture, color and layout of a room. Although we spent a lot of time on our pictures to ensure they are as accurate as possible, we strongly believe that you cannot make an informed decision on your floor until you see a sample in person. It is so important to us that you love your Revel Woods floor for its entire lifespan (which could be hundreds of years if your treat it right), that it would actually makes us uncomfortable if you bought the floor without seeing a sample first.

That’s why we wanted to make sampling easy.

We want to make sure you make the most informed decision you can, so each of our sample is two appropriate sized pieces, rather than the little chicklet other stores give you. We didn’t want to make them too big, like the large and heavy, samples found at your local carpet specialty store, because we wanted them to be portable enough for you to take with you when you pick out the rest of your space.

For $15 you get a sample pack which contains four samples, or eight total pieces of flooring.

When it comes to resilient flooring, you can buy a design kit containing one sample of all options for $19.

One of the ways we can keep our samples a portable size is because they are designed to be used in combination with our pictures, which usually contain at least 40 square feet of material, if not a full room scene. Once your samples arrive, compare them to the pictures on our site to get a more complete picture of the color, sheen, texture and character variation you can expect on the floor (note: we do our best to give you as accurate an idea as possible of what your floor will look like, but because wood is a natural product, your floor may ultimately have more or less variation than the samples and pictures).
